Dr. Vineet Kaswan
Dr. Vineet Kaswan studied M.Sc. form CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Haryana (India) and pursued his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology for Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology, Udaipur, Rajasthan (India) after which he worked as Research Associate at VPKAS (ICAR), Almora and IARI, New Delhi. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor and Head of Biotechnology Department at College of Basic Science and Huminities, SDAU, Gujarat (India). His research interest lies in Plant Biotechnology and Molecular Biology, Plant Genetic Engineering, Plant Molecular Breeding and Plant Cell and Tissue Culture. He has been recipient of several awards and fellowships including Pioneer Hi-Bred Research International Scholarship from Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. (“Pioneer”), Johnston, IA (USA) and awarded Gold medal for outstanding academic performance in Doctor of Philosophy (Molecular Biology & Biotechnology) examination. He is a member of various Science Academics and Professional Societies and has published in journals of national and international repute.
